The actress Gwyneth Paltrow never hides from her fans the rules that help her keep herself in shape. At the beginning of the year, together with nutritionists, she traditionally publishes on her website Goop.com a detox diet that will help you recover after the Christmas holidays.

The diet of 2017 is designed for five days. The maximum time for cooking the dishes in the menu is 20 minutes.

During the diet, you will have to exclude a number of foods, as well as:

  • gluten,
  • caffeine,
  • alcohol,
  • sugar,
  • red meat,
  • soy.

Every morning, you should begin with a glass of warm water with lemon, and breakfast with a spicy latte, based on vegetable milk. You should have four meals a day.

Monday:

  1. Oatmeal with apples and cinnamon
  2. Vegetable salad with boiled chicken and peanut butter
  3. A granola bar
  4. Chilli con carne with turkey and sweet potato.

Tuesday:

  1. Chicken soup with egg
  2. Chilli con carne with turkey and sweet potato
  3. A handful of raw cashew nuts and an apple
  4. Lentils with grilled salmon and radicchio.

Wednesday:

  1. Rice bread with half an avocado and boiled egg
  2. Lentil soup
  3. A granola bar
  4. Chicken and cabbage dim sums.

Thursday:

  1. Oatmeal with apples and cinnamon
  2. Light version of the Nicoise salad
  3. Rice bread with avocado and sea salt
  4. Thai salad Laap (Laab) and baked sweet potato with miso paste.

Friday:

  1. Chicken soup with egg
  2. Vegetable rolls with sweet potato and miso sauce
  3. A granola bar
  4. Fried rice in Thai style.

In a recent interview, Gwyneth Paltrow admitted that she sometimes deviates from her own principles of healthy eating and allows herself harmful food. “I do not believe that you need to completely exclude any products from your diet. I believe in enjoying life,” she explained. According to her, it is the balance that helps her keep the figure and at the same time feel happy.
